Hi there! I was born in Sandusky, Ohio and lived my life in Huron, a small quaint town on Lake Erie. Swimming, boating or fishing were things we enjoyed doing along with eating perch sandwiches, cruising the islands or spending the day at the famous Cedar Point amusement park.
I worked in hospitals across America as a nurse in the ICU's, heart units and recovery rooms. I wrote a couple poems in my twenties and it wasn't until listening to my father recite Poe at the water's edge, namely 'A Dream Within A Dream' that I became fascinated with the written and spoken word.
In December 2011, I self-published Kiss Ride, a novella, about two people who find each other on a train bound for the Atlanta airport. This is love in the south, based upon a true story and is available on Amazon KDP. I republished an updated version with a new cover October 30th, 2013.
My blog gardenlilie.com displays my poetry and therivermuse.com, an online art magazine, has articles I've written.
My debut novel, French Bleu, is written under the contemporary literature genre. French Bleu, titled after a vintage nightclub in Paris, is a novel of discovery, personal triumph and heroism amidst death, illness and captivity. Olivier, a pilot rescues stranded and desperate souls from famine and war torn areas of Africa. Daniela seeks that which is amiss in her own life, while Brie, a strong woman must find a destiny that awaits her own ambition. A vineyard in the picturesque, garden-like Loire Valley unites these characters while Paris captures their hearts desire. Readers 18+ please.
Bleu Moon is the duet in this Bleu Series. This beautiful and compelling story of family and love is surrounded by mystery and intrigue. The blue moon which occurs so infrequently is a picturesque ride to behold by honor and grace as the magnitude of the mission rests upon their shoulders. Olivier continues his Special Forces involvement as he and Brie unite and find out how families come together in a crisis. Do you love Paris? Bleu Moon will take you on a trip through the French countryside and beyond, then back to the streets of Paris with adventure in the city of light and love. Acceptable for all readers.
Published by Xlibris, both are available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and XLibris in e-book or print.
A sweet novella filled with graceful lyricism ... He said, "My dream is still there, just a change in the plan."
Caroline paints a Norman Rockwell existence with her words. Follow these hearts as they tell a story of love in the South.
